Registry Keys User Permissions

You must grant the appropriate Registry Keys User Permissions to the Administrators who are responsible for managing Registry Keys. You can grant all Registry Key-related permissions by granting the Edit LearnCenter Registry User Permission, or you can grant or deny specific Registry Keys-related sub permissions as needed.

On the ControlPanel:

  1. Click   on the Users menu to expand it.
  2. Click Users.
  3. Clicknext to an Admin.
  4. Click next to Edit LearnCenter Registry to expand the list of permissions.
  5. Click the check box next to a permission to grant it to the Admin.
    or
    Clear the check box to deny the permission to the Admin.
  6. Click Save.

Each permission is described below.

Permission Description

Edit LearnCenter Registry

Grant this permission to users responsible for making changes to the Registry.

Warning: This is an advanced feature that should only be used with the help of Taleo Learn Support personnel. Using this feature can dramatically alter the way your LearnCenter behaves. Do not change registry key values without first contacting Taleo Learn Support. Taleo Learn will not support issues brought on by unauthorized changes to the registry.

Add Registry Categories

Enables users to add registry categories. If you deny this permission, users will not be able to add registry categories.

Add Registry Keys

Enables users to add registry keys. If you deny this permission, users will not be able to add registry keys.

Edit Registry Keys

Enables users to edit registry keys. If you deny this permission, users will not be able to edit registry keys.

Delete Registry Keys

Enables users to delete registry keys. If you deny this permission, users will not be able to delete registry keys.

Override Sub LearnCenter Keys

Enables users to override sub LearnCenter registry keys. If you deny this permission, users will not be able to override sub LearnCenter registry keys.
